LOVE this...

Bag (and clothes & most of all the girl!)

Full disclosure-Anne Salvatore Epstein is my dear friend HOWEVER that doesn't change the fact that she super talented, driven, & concerned abut the environment.  We have all seen a million "green" products some good, some not so much.  Anne's line Beau Soleil, named after her favorite oyster, is both environmentally conscious and stylish.  One of our favorite items are the bags!  Cassie uses her Beau Bag for the gym, I use mine for Eleanor's school bag and Beau Clutch for "tools" in my work bag.  I cannot wait for the new bags in hot colors like green, pink, gold and silver.

We hope you love them too!

Outdoor Rooms

Spring is upon us and my outdoor space is a disaster.  Such a disaster in fact that I will not include a photograph...that bad.  Anyway, here are some rooms that are inspiring me to re-do.  Now if I could get Brian on board that would really help move things along!

Enjoy!

Designer We Love...

I can't remember when or where I first saw Mary McDonald's work but he signature style has always impressed me.  Mary is talented, beautiful, & glamorous-what a killer combo!  Her work has graced many covers such as House Beautiful, Elle Decor & Veranda and her mix of European antiques & clean classic lines is an inpsiration.  I hope you enjoy her work as much as I do.  Happy Friday!

Remember this story from Domino 2/09?

I love that dining room

Some notes on Paris/London

You know when you have to much to catch up on that it is overwhelming so instead of tackling it you procrastinate.  Well that's me.  So here it is in a petite nut shell.

PARIS:
1.  Everyone is wearing skinny jeans or leggings with knee high boots.  EVERYONE
2.  I love Laduree
3.  There are some amazing cars on the street
4.  YSL retrospective was perfection
5.  Deroyelle was BEYOND
6.  Can never get enough of Colette
7.  Drinks at the Plaza Athenee are expensive
8.  Conveyor belt sushi is better than it sounds
9.  I love Paris

LONDON:
1.  Everyone was wearing heels
2.  It rained.  Then everyone was wearing wellies
3.  The V&A rocks
4.  I would eat at Borough Market everyday if I could
5.  Churchill's Cabinet war rooms were more interesting than anticipated
6.  There are a lot of great flower stands
7.  More amazing cars on the street
8.  When I think of London I still think Trainspotting
9.  Our friends in London are great hosts

Au revoir Paris

Paris day 1

YSL retrospective was 3 hour wait so we are going to try again on tuesday.  Instead we walked along the Seine, went to the jardin de tulieries, Louvre, walked the Champs de Elysee, napped for 3 hours (shocking for me) and now ready for dinner!

just down the street from our hotel

love the topiary in the jardin tuileries

Eleanor is going to be so sad she missed this...

and this.  She has a thing for Paris.  That's my girl!
