Lil' Paint Project

We have a fun new little gig!  Every month we are going to do a fun & easy paint project using Benjamin Moore Paints from Mountain Paint & Decorating in Asheville.   Hopefully this will inspire some do it yourself-ers to pick up your brushes and do some refreshing!   This is our first month so our project is little (we just did it this morning) but we have some great projects coming up that we can't wait to show you.  ALSO-if you mention Turner & Co. blog you get 10% off your paint!  Here's our first little inspiration...

I'm just gettin' warmed up!

Last weeked my friends and I finally exchanged Christmas Gifts- I recieved my very first glue gun.   May not sound so exciting to you BUT I am over the moon about it!  Today I decided to do a quick little craft for my daughter's room.  It is an easy and inexpensive way to create art for your walls. 
I bought the frame and fabric at IKEA

Cut the fabric to fit the cardboard insert in the frame leaving about 1" all around.

A little hot glue ...

a hammer and nails ...

 

and voila! 

 

I hope she likes it!
